Community Standards

Last updated: September 25, 2026

The Kairis Community is a place to share practical protocols for everyday wellbeing and intentional living. These standards apply to Community publications, reference shares, and the pen names used with publications. They cover every part of a shared protocol, including its title, summary, steps, notes, sources, evidence notes, safety information, contraindications, and any later update.

By publishing or creating a reference share, you confirm that the content complies with these standards and that you have the right to share it. Community publications can be discovered in the App. Reference shares are unlisted, but anyone with the link or code can retrieve and pass them on while they remain available.

Share useful, honest protocols

Share protocols that are clear, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and useful to others. Describe what the protocol asks someone to do and who it may suit. Do not use misleading titles, summaries, sources, ratings, or claims to attract attention.

When you describe evidence, personal experience, or likely outcomes, distinguish between them. Do not present an opinion, anecdote, or preliminary finding as established fact. Cite or identify sources accurately when you include them, and do not fabricate, misrepresent, or selectively quote sources.

Put safety first

Kairis protocols are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency guidance. Do not share content that:

Use the Safety Notes and Contraindications fields thoughtfully. State meaningful limits, risks, and circumstances in which someone should avoid or adapt a protocol. Encourage readers to seek a qualified professional when their health, medication, pregnancy, age, disability, symptoms, or circumstances make individualized guidance important. Never imply that a protocol is suitable for everyone.

Protect people and privacy

Do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information about yourself or anyone else. This includes full names, contact details, addresses, precise locations, account credentials, health records, photographs, or information that could identify a private person. Do not ask readers to disclose such information.

Do not harass, threaten, shame, exploit, or discriminate against anyone. Content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on protected characteristics—including race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age—is not allowed. Sexual or sexually violent content is not allowed.

Respect ownership and attribution

Share only content you created or have permission to share. Do not copy protocols, text, research, trademarks, branding, or other protected material in a way that infringes another person’s rights. Give appropriate credit when you build on someone else’s work, including a community protocol. Do not impersonate a person, organization, professional, or Kairis.

Choose a responsible pen name

If you use a pen name for a Community publication, it must also follow these standards. Do not use a name that impersonates someone, falsely claims professional qualifications or affiliation with Kairis, contains harassment or hateful language, advertises a product, or directs readers to an unrelated offer. Leaving the pen name blank does not change your responsibility for the publication.

Share references responsibly

A reference share is not listed in the Community, but its protocol content must meet the same safety, privacy, accuracy, and ownership rules. The App removes creator identity and attribution fields from the shared snapshot; text you enter in other fields remains visible to anyone with the link or code. Review the whole protocol before sharing it. Disabling, expiring, or deleting a share stops new retrieval through the App, but cannot recall copies that recipients already saved.

Keep the community trustworthy

Do not use shared protocols or pen names to advertise, solicit, spam, manipulate engagement, collect information, or direct people to unrelated commercial offers. Do not include scams, malware, deceptive links, or instructions intended to bypass Kairis safeguards or applicable law.

Do not share content that is illegal, facilitates wrongdoing, or is otherwise inappropriate for a broad public wellbeing community. Follow applicable laws and the Kairis Terms of Service in addition to these standards.

Publication, review, and enforcement

The App checks publication requirements before a Community protocol is posted, but passing those checks is not a human review or endorsement. Reference shares are not reviewed before they are created. Kairis may review reported content and take action when it violates these standards, creates a safety concern, or infringes rights. Actions may include removing a Community publication from discovery, suspending an account's ability to publish, or disabling or removing a reference share. The action depends on the circumstances; submitting a report does not automatically remove content.

If you update a published protocol, the updated version must also comply. You remain responsible for reviewing your content, keeping safety information current, and removing a Community publication or reference share when it is no longer appropriate to share.

To report a Community protocol in the App, open the protocol, choose More then Report, select a reason, and tap Submit Report. This sends the reason and protocol identifiers to the moderation queue through iCloud. You can also choose Report by Email, including if you cannot submit through iCloud. To report a reference share, open the shared protocol, choose More then Report, and choose Report by Email. The App prepares an email with the reason and share details; you must send it from your email app to complete the report. You can also contact Kairis Support directly with enough detail to identify the content.
